Dragonfly

Simmering tensions bring shocking consequences in a gripping human story filmed in West Yorkshire. Neglected pensioner Elsie (Brenda Blethyn) finds an unexpected ally in her younger neighbour Colleen (Andrea Riseborough). Their new friendship brings brighter days for both of them, but their relationship starts to change when Elsie’s son John (Jason Watkins) shows concern about Colleen. Dragonfly is the latest film from acclaimed filmmaker Paul Andrew Williams who also directed the recent TV series Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes.
